The leader of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Ibadan North, Engr Daniel Ajuwon has congratulated the lawmakers representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 and Constituency 2, Hon Gabriel Adebayo Babajide and Hon Comforter Olajide on their appointments as chairman, vice-chairman and membership of different Standing Committees constituted by the leadership of the 10th Oyo Assembly.
Recall that Hon. Mrs Comforter Olajide was named as chairperson for Women Affairs and Community Development Standing Committee.
While Hon Gabriel Adebayo Babajide is the Vice-chairman for the Public, Private Partnership and Investment Monitoring Committee.
Engr Daniel Ajuwon who is the National Delegate for the party described the two lawmakers as astute parliamentarians who have displayed high capacities in the business of lawmaking.
While wishing Hon Babajide and Hon Comforter the very best in their respective positions, urged them to continue to cooperate with Governor Seyi Makinde for the success of Omitutun 2.o.
Ajuwon also commended Governor Seyi Makinde’s giant strides recorded since his inauguration for a second term of office.
The PDP stalwart appreciated the Governor for appointing Hon Toyin Balogun and Hon Babatunde Akoro as Hon Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion and Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) respectively.
He prayed that God will continue to endow the Governor with more knowledge and wisdom as he pilots the ship of the State to enviable position among other States in Nigeria.
Ajuwon also called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party to continue to support the administration of Governor Makinde in its resolve to provide dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot adding that PDP in Ibadan North which gave the governor the largest votes in the last gubernatorial election remains a united family.
