At a time when many Nigerians are groaning under the current economic hardship, a call has gone to the appropriate authorities to rethink entrepreneurship and its positive impact on society.
Speaking during a press conference in Lagos to officially unveil the successful train-the-trainers for aspiring entrepreneurs, the Founder of Masterpiece Resource Development Centre, MRDC, Modupe Oyekunle noted that the training was to equip them with the necessary skills needed for a profitable venture.
Oyeleke explained that aside from the rigorous training during the 8-day program, it was an opportunity for networking on the Start-And-Improve-Your-Business initiative which has been certified by the international labor organization.
Other speakers at the entrepreneurship development program including the chairman, board of MRDC, Abiola Popoola, and the Chief Trainer, Noruwa Edokpolo charged the participants to take the added knowledge to the society which in turn will help startup businesses among others.
The ILO-SIYB TOT closing ceremony as well as the Unveiling of ILO-SYB for aspiring aspiring entrepreneurs was also attended by the partners including top management of Providus Bank.
The 8-day ILO-SIYB training of trainers began last week Monday where the trained trainers went through the rigor of the TOT and thus, became members of MRDC faculty to train aspiring entrepreneurs.
