The Hoteliers Association of Nigeria, IFO / Ewekoro zone and it’s environs of Ogun State has elected new exco to pilot the affairs of the body.
The peaceful exercise which was supervised by the representative of the State Chapter led by Ota zonal chairman, Otunba Raphael Adesina and state social Secretary, Chief Laloko took place at Ifo.
Director of Tab-Royal Hotel, Alhaji Engr. Ademuyiwa Kamorudeen was elected as the Chairman and Mr. Adekunle Oke of Miot Hotel as the Secretary.
Also, Chief Bashorun Ogunde Gbenga of Maf-land Hotel emerged the Treasurer while Mr. Adegbemi Hammed of Hamob-Toham Hotel won the Financial Secretary seat.
Mr. Opeyemi Lawal of Ramyeem Hotel was elected as the Social Secretary and Mrs Afolabi Ade Ronke of Subortee Hotel got clinched the Welfare Officer.
The Public Relations Officer of the Association goes to Mr. Yusuf Opanachi Abubarka of Hadmas Hotel while Mr. Oladunjoye Johnson of Afro-Continental Hotel emerged victorious for the Chief Whip election.
Mr. Joseph Linus of De-jo Hotel won the Auditor seat.
Our reporter reports that the inauguration of the newly executives will be scheduled soonest.
The Chairman – elect in his comment, appreciated the first Patron Alhaji Jamiu Ogunbodede and other HAN members for the successful exercise.
“I want to show my sincere appreciation to the entire H.A.N, Ifo/Ewekoro, present EXCOS led by our first Patron Alhaji Jamiu Ogunbodede and the entire members of this great platform who has one way or the other contributed to the sound of joy for the successful conducted HAN,Ifo/Ewekoro Zone Election “.
He said “I’m so excited for this show of love which you bestowed upon us. I’m grateful indeed and I can’t thank you enough for making it a memorable one”.
According to him, “My sincere prayer is that God Almighty in his infinite mercy will give each and every one of us long life with sound health and sound mind coupled with his ultimate protection in all ramifications to celebrate more of it together by the special grace of the Almighty Allah. Ameen!!!”.
He, however, urged members to drop their differences and come together to build stronger and better HAN.
“The election have come and gone, let drop our differences and come together to build a stronger and better association”, he stated.
